Owner/chef Yoon Jae Kim combines more than 25 years of experience and he decided to opened Kansaku Sushi restaurant in the heart of downtown in Evanston, 2006. His adventure continues to grow in Buffalo Grove area and opened Otaru Sushi restaurant in Arboretum golf course club house(2022) and Sushi Mura in Chicago(2023).  Otaru Sushi restaurant serves golfers and also the neighborhood with delicious Japanese cuisine.

Cultural influences and a culinary passion have motivated them to pursue a career as a sushi chef. Especially, signature rolls and chef signature nigiris are bound to please any crowd. Our chefs personally order the fish from overseas to deliver the freshest and tastiest for our customers.
